Protocol are working closely with a Further Education college based in Romford to help recruit for an Electrical Installation lecturer on a Long term temporary basis.

The role;

• Full time hours - 35 hours per week.
• Long term temporary contract.
• You will be responsible for training, assessing and lecturing for a caseload of candidates and be involved in the quality assurance of programmes.
• To train, support and assess students on workplace programmes to deliver high quality outcomes, this will include some in-house delivery.
• Liaise with candidates and workplace supervisors to ensure convenient visit arrangements, either in College or on employers’ premises, as applicable.
• Administer tests in college or on employers’ premises as appropriate.
• Use IT to support the student in a flexible learning environment and to support efficient working practices.
• Induct and support candidates in achieving their qualifications/apprenticeships, in line with awarding body/sector skills assessment practices, within agreed timescales.

Have you got what it takes?

• Hold a vocational qualification minimum level 3 in electrical installation
• Hold an Assessor Award (D32/33 or A1 or TAQA)
• DBS on the update service
• Hold a teaching or training qualification, level 5
