School: 2-Form Entry Primary School
Start Date: September
Salary: Up to £110 per day

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans.
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver targeted interventions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students' social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Confidently support the learning of groups of children, including those with EHCPs and pupils with ASC/Communication and language needs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Must have a degree.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a primary or SEN school is essential.
  • DBS: Must have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Knowledge: Must have knowledge of SEND needs and strategies that support independent learning.
  • Proactive: Must be proactive and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Role Model: Must be an excellent, positive role model.
  • Teamwork: Able to work positively in a team.
  • Skills: Good levels of English and Maths.
