Nter Talent are working with a global logistics business based in Lutterworth. We are seeking a dynamic Ecommerce Warehouse Team Leader to join their team.

In this role, you will lead, manage, coach, motivate, and engage a team to coordinate activities and achieve technical and business goals through effective process compliance, continuous improvement, quality, and team development. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly, daily, and monthly performance reports; develop and maintain visual management boards for the team
  • Ensure health, safety, environment, and housekeeping standards are met and promote individual responsibility for health and safety
  • Create daily/weekly production schedules, including hourly resource planning with the Planning and Resource Manager
  • Continually evaluate production line cell times and identify opportunities to improve quality and throughput
  • Drive and monitor value-added activities to maximize recoverable product value
  • Ensure all direct activities have relevant standard operating procedures compliant with current client work instructions (GSX and Agile)
  • Actively pursue the elimination of waste using continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • Use problem-solving techniques to explore and promote initiatives that reduce costs without affecting quality
  • Promote flexibility through skills training and personal development to meet team capability targets
  • Provide accurate and concise end-of-day production line analysis/reporting to senior management
  • Provide analysis of technical exceptions in process, internally and to the client, as required
  • Monitor team absence and performance, taking action where necessary, ensuring weekly reviews and accurate reporting
  • Create and maintain a positive team culture, encouraging involvement from all team members
  • Work with appropriate parties to provide solutions to team issues, considering policies and ethical practices
  • Manage customer interfaces and expectations to ensure excellent customer service

About You

We’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience, though we encourage you to apply if you believe you can excel in this role:

Essential:

  • GCSE or equivalent level of education (including Maths and English)
  • Experience managing and leading a team in a fast-paced production environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including effective listening
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Logical thinker with skills in understanding, interpreting, and acting upon data
  • Commitment to self-development and team development
  • Experience adapting to and leading change programmes
  • Understanding and implementing Health and Safety standards
  • Experience delivering excellent customer service
  • People management through HR processes and procedures
