Job role: MIG Welder - Temporary

Salary: £31,000-£34,000 (£15-£16.50 per hour)

Location: Earls Barton, Northamptonshire

Hours: 8:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday - flexible hours available

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent



The Role:

· To weld heavy steel to the highest standard using MIG welding equipment.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure welds are completed correctly.

· Use bespoke jigs to assist with the welding process.

· To be responsible for quality and timely completion of parts to agreed standards.

· To be responsible for ensuring the timekeeping/job tracking system is kept up to date at all times.

· Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines at all times.





The Requirements:



· Previous experience MIG Welding (essential)

· Qualification in Welding (advantageous)

· Can read and interpret engineering drawings (advantageous)

· Work well within a team, but also take initiative and enjoy working on your own

· Strict attention to detail

· Work to tight deadlines
