Operations Manager required to join a builders merchant located in Wolverhampton. The company are suppliers of timber, building materials, landscaping, decorating and tool equipment. As an Operations Manager, you will oversee over 100 staff in different departments of the business.

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch targets and objectives
• Lead, motivate, and manage different teams in the business
• Monitor sales performance and provide guidance to staff to meet targets
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Manage branch inventory and stock levels
• Arrange incoming and outgoing delivery scheduling
• Prepare reports on branch performance for senior management
• Health, Safety and Environmental standards

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a builder's Merchant or the Construction Industry
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must be within the Wolverhampton area

• Starting salary £45,000 - £50,000
• Bonus (circa £5,000)
