Data Processing Administrator

Salary: £24k to £26k, depending on experience
Location: Billington Road, Burnley, UK

Core Duties:

Reporting to the Finance Manager and collaborating with the wider commercial team, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Database Maintenance: Routine maintenance of the MRP System (Microsoft Navision) database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all entered information.
     
  • Process Production Orders: Monitor and process production orders through the MRP system, ensuring timely and accurate tracking of all production stages.
     
  • Stock Management: Process weekly stocktake data, report variances to relevant departments, and ensure inventory accuracy and control.
     
  • Reporting and Data Preparation: Assist in preparing data for weekly and monthly reports on manufacturing performance, ensuring data integrity and timely delivery.
     
  • Process Improvement: Participate in developing and enhancing existing internal reporting systems and processes to improve efficiency.
     
  • Analysis and Costing: Conduct analysis and costing of Bills of Material (BOM) for new and existing products, providing detailed cost breakdowns and ensuring accurate pricing.
     
  • General Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks as directed by management.

Skills Required:

  • Experience with MRP Systems: Proficiency in using MRP systems, particularly Microsoft Navision (NAV), is highly desirable.
     
  • Database Management: Experience with routine database maintenance, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information.
     
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and variances.
     
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable with using various software and technology tools related to data processing and reporting.
     
  • Reporting Skills: Proficiency in preparing data for weekly and monthly performance reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
     
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data entry, reporting, and database maintenance.
     
  • Data Entry Proficiency: Accurate and efficient data entry skills, with a focus on maintaining high standards of data integrity.
     
  • Basic Accounting Knowledge: Understanding basic accounting principles would be beneficial, though not required.
