Job Description: We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Girls PE Teacher to join a team at a reputable Secondary School in Slough. The successful candidate will be passionate about physical education and have a strong commitment to promoting health and fitness among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delivering Engaging PE Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of secondary school students, with a focus on girls' physical education.
  2. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of the PE curriculum, incorporating relevant educational standards and best practices to enhance student learning outcomes.
  3. Assessment and Feedback: Assess student performance in PE activities and provide constructive feedback to support their progress and development.
  4. Promoting Healthy Lifestyles: Encourage students to adopt healthy lifestyle habits and attitudes towards physical activity, promoting the importance of regular exercise and wellbeing.
  5. Extracurricular Activities: Organize and supervise extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and events to provide additional opportunities for student participation and achievement.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the overall educational objectives of the school and maintain effective communication channels.
  7. Student Support: Provide pastoral care and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

Requirements:

  1. Specialization in PE: Demonstrate expertise in physical education, with a focus on girls' sports and fitness activities.
  2. UK Education Experience: Have a minimum of 6 months of experience working in a UK educational setting, preferably within a secondary school environment.
  3. Passion for Teaching: Possess a genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people, with a commitment to promoting the benefits of physical activity and wellbeing.
  4. Effective Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
  5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons and extracurricular activities.
  6. Commitment to Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring the welfare and safety of all students at all times.
