Community Development & Inclusion Manager

Location: Midlands/ North (flexible as home based with occasional office-based meetings)

Salary: £300-350 per day

Duration: Temporary

Greenacre are pleased to be supporting a national housing association with their recruitment of a Community Development & Inclusion Manager.

This role is flexible as home based with occasional office-based meetings.

The ideal candidate will have experience of setting the strategy and designing a social value framework.

What will you do in the role?

• You will lead on developing the new community development strategy and you will design, own, and deliver social value objectives
• You will support the housing, specialist housing & homeownership teams to build strong external partnerships that will help to build sustainable neighbourhoods & communities
• You will design the housing, specialist housing and leaseholder inclusion service offer that will provide opportunities for customers who might be financially or digitally excluded or face difficulties in maintaining their homes
• The Inclusion team will be subject matter experts on income maximisation, digital inclusion, the cost-of-living crisis (food & fuel poverty) & access to employment opportunities.  The team will keep up to date with legislation, provide training to colleagues and have a caseload of vulnerable customers who the team will provide short-term assistance
