Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected local authority legal team who are seeking a Criminal & Enforcement Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position.

ROLE: Locum Criminal and Enforcement Lawyer
LOCATION: Essex
CONTRACT: 6 months, full time
RATE: £40.00 to £50.00 per hour

Please note that this would require office attendance 2 days per week.

The Role of the Criminal and Enforcement Lawyer

  • To handle a full caseload consisting of both contentious and non-contentious criminal and enforcement matters
  • Matters will include:
    • Complex fraud cases
    • Confiscation proceedings
    • Consumer complaint prosecutions
    • Planning and Environmental Enforcement Prosecutions
    • Highways Enforcement Notices and Prosecutions

The Person

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
  • Experienced in dealing with criminal and enforcement matters within a local authority
