Based in South London, they support the UK and Ireland markets, offering comprehensive new build solutions and exceptional aftermarket support. They are currently seeking an Electrical Support Engineer with a 'can do' attitude, to join their dynamic team and contribute to their continued success. 
 
Electrical Support Engineer Responsibilities:
Manage electrical tasks and collaborate to oversee tasks, protocols, and resolve issues
Conform, develop, and manage job packs for electrically biased tasks
Responsible for the creation, review, certification, and management of BoMs (Bill of materials)
Oversee management of electrical data, manuals, drawings, and information
Determine, design, and reverse engineer components and test systems equipment
Carry out electrically biased investigations  
Mentor and train others as required to develop and increase knowledge, safety, confidence, skills, processes, and standards 
Perform assessments and produce reports
Mentor and Train others to enhance personnel knowledge, safety, and skills
Assist in supplier selection and assessment & provide quality support as needed
Investigate, analyse, and benchmark assets, data, and systems
 
Electrical Support Engineer Key Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum HNC/HND in electrical/electronic/avionics engineering; degree preferred
2+ years of design experience, rail and reverse engineering preferred 
Strong electrical fundamentals, fault diagnosis, and design principles
Familiarity with rail products, testing systems, fault diagnosis and industry standards
Knowledge of electrical assets and systems from other sectors including marine, oil and gas, industrial gearboxes/ motors/ pumps/ valves, sensors, instrumentation, condition monitoring and testing
Fluent in technical and conversational English
Proficient in SAP, ERP systems, OPEX, production processes, and ISO 9001:2015
Commercially aware with strong leadership and teamwork skills
Familiarity with warranty/complaints management, HSE standards, NPI, system design, component selection, system integration, testing, validation, and verification
