Key Responsibilities:

As the HR Supervisor/Training Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy of our clients organisation. Your main duties will include:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies, training programmes and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal systems and provide coaching and support to managers and employees.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
  • Compliance and Policies: Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and aligned with market standards.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyse HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven HR Experience: Extensive experience in HR, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address and resolve HR issues.
  • Knowledge of Labour Laws: In-depth knowledge of labour laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
