About the role:

We are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This full-time, long-term position has become available due to the expansion of our dedicated support team. The successful candidate will work 1-on-1 with students struggling with anxiety, providing them with the care and support they need to thrive.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEMH needs.

• A compassionate and patient approach.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1-on-1 support to students with SEMH needs, particularly those struggling with anxiety.

• Assist in developing and implementing individualised support plans.

• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
