What you'll be doing;



The purpose of this role will be to manage the enhanced weathering operations on a fixed term basis for regional areas for the wider enhanced weathering business unit. The role will be responsible for managing the delivery of product to farmland and coordinating with contractors to ensure compliant applications in accordance with standard operating procedures.



This role will be responsible for identifying, building and maintaining a customer base of farmers and landowners in close proximity to quarries to ensure agreed annual volumes of product are delivered to the sites




  • Relationship building and providing maintenance solutions to Farm land owners.
  • Providing delivery of agreed services.
  • Providing maintenance and delivery of Products and services.
  • Supervision and Day-to-day management of land spreading deployments.
  • Act as ambassador to the business attending Seminars, Meetings, Conferencing,Job specific learning and training.
  • Health and Safety assessments and deployments management.
  • Finding suitable land for deployments.
  • Collection of soil and rock samples for dispatch for analysis and testing.
  • Arranging Deliveries of product to deployments, Stockpile management, Spreading activities, and post spreading sampling and inspection.
  • Annual delivery targets will be set by the Operations Manager and it will be the responsibility of the role holder to ensure these targets are met in accordance with the wider teams process requirements.
  • Interacting effectively with Clients, Landowners, and Suppliers, via Telephone, Email, or letter.
  • Managing deployments to ensure they are run efficiently and cost effectively as possible to gain optimum value for Veolia.
  • Responsible for securing and maintaining a healthy customer base for the application of product to land.
  • Assisting with strategy and scaling of the business unit
  • Business Ambassador Promotion of products at public and trade events
  • Responsible for managing the relationships with quarry managers, contractors and lab partners.
  • Continuous Project planning and delivery.
  • Working Within Budget and agreed timelines.
  • Team player and able to work on their own initiative.








What we're looking for;



  • Agricultural or land-based background
  • Experience with Agricultural Lime spreading.
  • Experience working with the quarrying sector (optional but would be a plus)
  • Experience working with farmers and contractors.
  • Full Driving Licence
