About the role:

We are seeking an experienced SEN TA with a specialization in SEMH to join our dedicated team. This position is integral to supporting our students who require additional assistance due to social, emotional, and mental health needs. The role is available due to increased demand for support, ensuring continuity and enhancement of our SEN provision.

The successful candidate will work closely with a supportive team in a nurturing classroom environment. Class sizes are kept small to facilitate focused learning and individualized attention, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with students with SEMH needs.

• Knowledge of effective strategies for behavior management and emotional support.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external support agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEMH needs.

• Implement behavior management strategies and interventions as directed by the SENCO and class teachers.

• Foster a supportive and nurturing environment conducive to learning and emotional development.

• Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to create and implement individual education plans (IEPs).
