Longfloor Processing Plant Operative
Location: Matlock
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week
Longcliffe Quarries Ltd was established in 1927, it is one of the very few independent hard rock quarries left in England, and one of the largest which is still family owned.
We employ over 180 people, some of whose forebears also worked for the company, and we’re proud of the fact that many others have been with us for more than 25 years.
The Role
Responsible for the safe operation of the Processing Plants, SHE, Plant Inspections & Internal vehicle movements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Good understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental Practices
- Experience in operating Processing & Mobile Plant
- Flexibility to undertake a range of tasks
- Team player and flexible ‘can do’ attitude
- Willingness to learn and attend any relevant training
- Basic IT skills and good communicator
- Good numeracy and literacy skills required
- Grade "C" or above at GCSE Mathematics & English required
