CAREER OPPORTUNITY – SALARY UP TO £90K OR £400 LTD CO STATUS – BIRMINGHAM + 25 MILES, SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – GREAT TEAM, CAREER PROGRESSION, GROWING COMPANY, VERY BUSY
An exciting opportunity to join a Birmingham based groundworks contractor working on residential groundworks projects valued between £1 million and £30 million. The contractor is in need of a highly driven Senior Quantity Surveyor who is local to Birmingham or willing to commute. They are looking to add to their team due to the expansion of the business over the last 12 months.
With the company expanding over the last 12 months and taking on more high valued projects there is a great opportunity to join a growing commercial team. Hence this Senior Quantity Surveyor being needed.
Duties:
o All traditional duties associated with being a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
o Commercial Management of various sites
o Measurement, valuation, variations, negotiation, relationship building and final accounts.
o Mentoring / management of Junior Quantity Surveyor.
o To work independently and take responsibility for the successful delivery of Quantity Surveying services on all live projects.
Requirements:
o Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the residential groundworks sector.
o Strong leadership and communication skills.
o Full UK Driving licence.
o Able to commute to sites based around the Birmingham.
