Are you an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee their brand new 3-bed EBD service in Oldham. This full-time, permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives.

This role offers an annual salary of between £50,000- £55,000 with bonuses. You'll be working 9-5, Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call cover. If you're a Deputy Manager looking to step up into management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As the Registered Children's Home Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a vibrant and enthusiastic care team.
  • Ensuring the effective day-to-day running of the home and delivery of care services.
  • Strategic planning for developments within the home and managing all day-to-day matters.
  • Delivering the organisation's vision and values to provide the best possible childcare.
  • Building relationships with service users, families, staff, agencies, partners, and commissioners.
Package and Benefits:

The package for the Registered Children's Home Manager includes:

  • Annual salary of £50,000 to £55,000 with bonuses.
  • Full-time hours, 9-5 Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call cover.

To be considered for the Registered Children's Home Manager role, you should have:

  • Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or be working towards this.
  • A true passion for care and working with children.
  • At least 2 years of experience in children's social care within the last 5 years, including at least 1 year at a supervisory level.
  • Experience in a similar role (Ofsted), ideally in a children's residential setting.
  • Experience working with individuals with severe autism and/or learning disabilities.
  • Confidence in meeting and exceeding Ofsted guidelines.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS, ideally on the update service.
