Senior CCTV Engineer

Our client, a leading security solutions provider based in Bedford, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CCTV Engineer to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Installation, Service, and Maintenance: Oversee the installation, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of CCTV security products to ensure optimal performance.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding service to our customers, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring satisfaction with our security solutions.
  • Team Support: Provide leadership and support to the team of engineers, especially in the absence of the CCTV Manager, ensuring smooth operations and effective problem-solving.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilise in-depth technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues promptly, maintaining high standards of system functionality and reliability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve service delivery and system performance
     

The successful candidate will have:
 

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in CCTV installation, service, and maintenance.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills with a thorough understanding of CCTV systems and security solutions.  Hik vision experience is essential.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and support a team of engineers in the absence of the CCTV Manager, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical information to both team members and customers.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.
