Production Operative - Surface Mount

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative (Surface Mount) for our client based in Clay Cross. This is a full time, temporary to permanent role.
Duties -
-Conduct set-up and maintain operation of automated SMT assembly equipment including Screen Printer, Pick & Place Machine and Reflow Oven
-Conduct scheduled machine maintenance, cleaning and general upkeep duties as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Generate program data for Pick & Place and AOI machines.
- Conduct manual placement of SMT components, including hand soldering.
- Conduct testing and inspection of SMT assemblies, using magnification devices, measuring instruments, or electrical test equipment, to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Conduct rework within capabilities as directed by immediate Supervisor
What we are looking for -
- Previous experience in an electronics role, ideally with SMT experience
- Machine operating experience
- A willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team

- Working Monday - Friday, 7.30am starts, 39 hours per week
- Pay up to £12.15 per hour
