Roc Search's client are urgently seeking Welding & Fabrication Trainer to join their growing team in Northamptonshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance and expertise in the field of welding and fabrication to meet the requirements of international standards and customer specifications.

To be considered you will have the following experience:

Must have experience -

  • Working Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO (phone number removed) & 5817
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel
  • CSWIP Certification
  • Experience within a fabrication welding business
  • Trained Internal Auditor

Key responsibilities -

  • Designing and writing of welding procedures and maintenance of records
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to internal departments on weld procedures
  • Analyse high rate of weld repairs and give guidance for improvement to reduce wastage
  • Responsible for total weld quality throughout the company for manufactured products
  • Identifying process changes/improvements
  • Training/coaching employees in accordance with welding procedures and assessment/appraisal of welders
  • Management of audit system related to weld quality & internal auditing
  • 5S Champion - Providing guidance, training, assessment to members of staff within DMP
  • Support NPI welding and product manufacture procedure activity

Hours

7:00am to 5:15pm, Monday to Thursday.

7:00am to 1pm, Fridays.
