Our client, a leading Defence & Security company in the Marine sector, is currently seeking an Ancillary - Slinger to join their team on a contract basis. As an Ancillary - Slinger, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of slinging tasks. With your banksman/slinger skills, you will contribute to the overall success of the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out slinging duties in accordance with regulations and safety standards
- Work closely with the lifting team to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Inspect and maintain lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines during all operations
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in banksman/slinger role
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and associated equipment
- Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
