Mechanical Design Engineer - Senior

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading and highly respected Mechanical Building Services contractor, as Mechanical Design Engineer.

My client are a forward-thinking design and build company based in the midlands that are looking to expand their team.

Typical projects range from £50,000 to £3million within the commercial sector, ranging from Cat A & B fit outs to full HVAC installations to schools, hotels, offices etc.. Due to expansion, they are now looking to bring in a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer into the business to assist with, design, and lead new projects.

Key skills needed

  • Experienced on the contractor side (however not critical).
  • Experienced with office fit-out work and the timescales that this work involves
  • Other works include schools, sports centres, hotels, showrooms, swimming pools.
  • Experience working with wet heating and CHWS, 4-pipe FCUs, VRV, VAV, domestic water and public health systems.
  • Capable of producing site surveys and validation reports.
  • Preferably trained in EDSL, Tas and capable of producing load calculations.

  • Salary - £60,000 - £80,000

  • Hours of work - 8:30 - 17:00 Mon-Fri.
