ATA are supporting a small family run manufacturing business, stepped with over 100 years of history in the UK, who are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to join their team. The company who has 4 sites in the UK produce products which have become a staple part of British Homes shopping lists, becoming more popular with each passing year. The business is going from strength to strength and are set to grow even further in 2024, allowing them to surpass their 90m turnover of the previous year.

The company are now looking to speak to maintenance engineers who want to work within small close-knit team.

About the role

As a maintenance engineer you will work within a small team to ensure the safe and effective running of all plant machinery.

-         PPM

-         Reacting to breakdowns & remedial repair work

-         Completing project work

-         Fault finding

-         Continuous improvement and root cause analyses

About you

To be considered for a maintenance engineer position with the business, you should be multiskilled with a slight electrical bias.  

You should have the following:

-         Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment.

-         Experience working within manufacturing would be beneficial.

-         Experience with adhering to safe lock off and tag of procedures.

-         Recognised qualification (BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, HND).

-         Our client will also consider candidates if you are recently qualified and have just finished your apprenticeship.
