Cnc Programmer Setter Operator

Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and proficiency in handling materials. This role involves working with machinery, such as mills, and utilising software like SolidWorks to fabricate components.
Duties -
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications
-utilizing the latest technology across a wide range of multi-axis lathes and machining center
-Online Program, set up, and operate 3 and 4 axis (X Y Z & A) milling machines to produce high-quality components to precise specifications.
-Understand technical drawings to ensure accurate production. Drawings are simplified and produced in-house for ease of set-up
-Set up job as per internal Setting sheet for each job.
-Monitor production processes to ensure that they meet quality standards.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and production processes
-Strong knowledge of CNC programming using FANUC controls
-Mechanical set up and operation of a CNC vertical & horizontal milling machines for small batch runs
-Measurement of machined parts and adjustment of offsets to ensure the accuracy of the finished components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Handle materials efficiently and safely in the warehouse
- Use SolidWorks and CAD software to create and modify designs
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Fabricate parts using various tools and equipment
- Conduct tooling changes and maintenance as required
Experience:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and understanding machining processes
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and CAD software for design purposes
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment
- Ability to handle materials effectively in a warehouse setting
