Our client based in Milton Keynes currently has a vacancy for an experienced Panel Wirer to join their team, initially on a temporary ongoing basis, but there is opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring and soldering of electrical control panels according to technical drawings and specifications.
This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Shift: Monday to Friday
Hours: 0800 – 1600 / 0830 – 1630 / 0900 – 1700
Pay: £15.38
Location: Milton Keynes
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Assemble electrical control panels, including mounting components and wiring.
- Perform wiring tasks such as crimping, soldering, and terminating cables.
- Adhere to safety standards and company protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for wiring and assembly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in electrical assembly.
