GSL Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team in Lincoln. 

About Us:

We believe in providing high-quality education and support to children with SEN to help them reach their full potential.

The Role:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Support teachers in delivering tailored lessons and activities that meet the needs of each student.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting support strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to create a holistic approach to student development.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with children with SEN.
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with children with SEN.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Patience and empathy.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Team player mindset.
  • Knowledge of SEN best practices and safeguarding.
