Company Description: Manufacturer of Electrical Junction Boxes Enclosures &, Electrical Distribution Equipment,  

Reports to: Managing Director 

Hours: 9.30am – 3.30pm (Monday- Friday) 

Key Task & Job Description  

Aim of the position 

  • Direct, Supervise and carry out administrative, finance and commercial tasks for the local operation. 

  • Manage the office and all relevant duties, including managing 2 -3 office staff. 

  • Assist the Managing Director in his day-to-day activities. 

Job Description 

  • Supporting & Managing a small team with daily tasks ranging from customer orders, invoicing to commercial terms. 

  • Management of customer accounts, commercial terms & Financial activities. 

  • Assist the Managing Director in his day-to-day activities, including frequent liaison with Group HQ. 

  • Coordinate the sales forecasting activity, and sales turnover updating on a regular basis through liaison with the sales team. 

  • Coordinate and ensure that CRM is being utilised correctly 

  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations 

  • Dealing with incoming email, posts and often corresponding on behalf of the MD 

  • Arrange travel and accommodation for employees and visitors 

  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff 

  • Other duties as required. 

Prerequisites 

  • 10 years of office experience with varied roles or a graduate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in office environments. 

  • Very proficient in Excel and Microsoft package with high level of accuracy and attention to details 

  • Quick learner with CAN DO attitude. 

  • Excellent IT skills are required (Windows and Office programs as a minimum, knowledge of Sage 50 is ideal)
