Occupational Hygiene Technician (STEM Graduate)

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Salary: Up to £26k + Travel Allowance

Full Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday

Our client’s Healthcare Company is one of the UK’s leading providers of occupational health services. Their clients include leading names across a wide range of sectors.

The Role:

As an Occupational Hygiene Monitoring Technician in multidisciplinary team, you will be covering personnel and site activities involving various chemical, physical, and biological agents. 

Responsibilities:

• Participate in occupational hygiene investigations and studies.
• Perform regular workplace inspections to assess hygiene-related aspects.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of training and information materials on occupational hygiene.
• Contribute to occupational hygiene performance reports.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a similar role.
• Experience or keen interest in industrial and/or construction environments.
• Affiliate membership of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (AFOH) and working towards CertOH is desirable but not essential.
• STEM degree would be beneficial.

Schedule:

• 3 weeks of day shifts
• One week of midnight shifts till 3 pm
