This well-respected contractor has a network of UK offices and a dedicated workforce; they are well known for working on some of the UK’s most prestigious construction and engineering projects.

Their South West business unit have a healthy pipeline of work and recently secured a number of infrastructure schemes in Devon and are therefore in need of additional resource and looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Planner to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and updating resource programmes of work for the site teams.

Due to the nature of the projects previous experience of working on Infrastructure projects is essential.

Required experience:
• Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in Civil Engineering or relevant professional experience
• Extensive experience delivering infrastructure projects.
Ability and willingness to guide, mentor and develop junior staff.
• Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) mandatory.
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).

This is a permanent position based on site so Hybrid working isn’t an option as you will be required to be present in the office for a minimum of 3 days a week so you will need to live within a commutable distance of the Plymouth office where you will also be required to hold a security pass to work on a security cleared MOD project.

In return you can expect a basic salary of up to £84k plus up to 10% bonus, a car allowance as well as additional benefits.
