Your new company
A SQL is required to join Hays client on a full-time basis in Stirling. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be in the office 3 days per week, so candidates will ideally be local or able to travel ad hoc.
Your new role
You'll be playing a crucial role in providing technical support for software projects, troubleshooting issues, optimising SQL queries and collaborating with the IT team. Strong SQL proficiency is imperative for this role, as well as being able to come to the office 3 days per week as stated.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:

• SQL proficiency and SQL database proficiency (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Experience in software development support
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Familiar with software development life-cycles
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent commercial experience

Ideal:

• Experience with VB and .NET
• Cloud-based database services knowledge (e.g. AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database)

What you'll get in return
