Replacing someone who has progressed into a consultant role, you will be supported to identify the right path for you and offered the training and development to get there provided you demonstrate the desire!

The duties of this role will be varied, and ever changing, but will give the post-holder an all-round fast track into Recruitment!

Recruitment is not for the faint hearted and requires someone flexible, resilient, and positive, with a good sense of humour!

  • Supporting the growth of the Manufacturing, Engineering and Technical Division, working on an established and expanding desk within this field with new roles incoming continuously!
  • Honing your recruitment skills – learning the process end to end from taking a brief, through to successfully placing and on-boarding new starters
  • Pro-actively networking and resourcing candidates
  • Accurately recording information to our CRM, often multi-tasking
  • Providing comprehensive support, including formatting documents, writing job adverts, acting as gatekeeper, creating and managing spreadsheets, managing the CRM system, supporting with implementation of new procedures, coordinating diaries and pro-actively preparing for the day ahead and ad-hoc duties as required
  • Conducting thorough face-to-face registrations and interview preparation
  • Attending meetings alongside the AD, taking notes and making a good impression on the businesses we work with – soaking up that knowledge!

The successful Recruitment Resourcer will have/be:

  • Educated to A Level or beyond and able to pick up new things easily (very good GCSE grades or experience in Recruitment will be considered)
  • Well-spoken and well presented, with high personal standards
  • A desire to work in Recruitment long term, with a basic understanding of what the industry entails
  • Passionate about learning and looking to soak up knowledge in a fun and friendly team!
  • An honest, genuine and trustworthy person with a positive and accountable attitude and an interest in personal development
  • Committed, energetic and ambitious with a willingness to ‘go the extra mile’
  • Able to demonstrate where you have persevered at learning a new skill or stuck to something that has been challenging in the past
  • An interest in specialising in Manufacturing Engineering & Technical sector (not essential, but you must be willing to work in this field to begin with!)
  • A confident communicator who is comfortable on the phone – keyboard warriors need not apply!
  • Ideally be able to use formulas and functions on Excel; can be taught to the right person
  • Good organisational skills, happy to use these in a supporting role
  • The ability to juggle multiple, changing priorities in a calm and professional manner
  • Able to write well, with good spelling and grammar.

This opportunity comes within a fun and sociable working environment, working in open plan offices with good facilities as well as ongoing career development opportunities and a very good earning potential.
