Project Health and Safety Advisor

Salary/Rate:
£40,000 - £45,000/annum car allowance, training, pension

Project Health and Safety Advisor required to join a multi-national Hard/Technical Facilities Management company. You will be working on a broad range of projects, varying in size, value and environment.  c60% of projects will be in London and the Northern Home Counties, with c40% being nationwide.

The company covers energy, engineering and facilities services and prides itself on increasing the use of low carbon energy and delivering groundbreaking energy solutions.

The company is offering entry onto the Health and Safety Diploma at around c12 months employment, as part of your ongoing development.  9001 Lead Auditor training is offered after 6 months.

Duties include:

Providing Health and Safety advice and guidance to the Operation and Projects Team.
Assisting in ensuring project based CDM deliverables are met
Assisting in improving Health and Safety standards.
Completing monthly Health and Safety data reports.
Keeping up to date with legislation and Company standards.
Assisting in developing and managing risk assessments, audits and Inspections and ensuring all actions are followed through to completion.
Assisting in maintaining Health and Safety records.
Delivering Health and Safety Induction programmes and training.

Experience

Ideally 18 months+ experience working as a Health and Safety Advisor within construction or engineering projects.  This could have been gained in a Facilities Management or Mechanical and Electrical contractor environment.

Qualifications:

NEBOSH General and/or Construction Certificate.

Knowledge of ISO systems and their implementation is desirable.

The company are offering £40-£45k plus car allowance, pension and other benefits.  Entry onto the Health and Safety Diploma, 9001 Lead Auditor training and further career development.
