Job Summary:
Our fabrication and rail client are seeking a meticulous Quality Manager to join their team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance within our clients organisation.

Job Duties:

Inspecting parts using verniers and micrometres
Managing and developing the quality management systems to ensure they are robust and comply with industry standards
Reviewing and update welding qualifications
Inspect, monitor and maintain standards through regular audits
Working well with stakeholders at all levels including a key customer with presence on site so you’ll be constantly communicating
Identify areas for continuous improvement and driving excellencePerson Specification:

Ability to work effectively under pressure managing multiple priorities and you’ll need exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
Strong experience in engineering, ideally fabrication and / or rail who has had a key focus on Quality Management, working within ISO 9001 and 45001 guidelines
Working knowledge of industry standards and regulation including
Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations in fabrication or rail industryHours of Operation:

Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30
Friday 08:00 - 12:00There will be small elements of travel between two sites so you must have access to your own vehicle.
