About the role: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely 2-form entry primary school in Burnt Oak. This full-time, long-term position involves working 1:1 with a child in reception who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and is academically behind. The child does not exhibit challenging behaviour, and the ideal candidate will have a naturally calm manner and experience supporting younger children with ASD, specifically within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Application Requirements: 

• Previous experience working with children with ASD, particularly in EYFS.
• A calm and patient demeanor. 
• Strong communication skills. 
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
• Commitment to the well-being and development of the child. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide 1:1 support to a child with ASD in reception.
• Assist with the child’s academic and social development.
• Implement individualised learning plans
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff.
