Sewell Wallis are recruiting a Management Accountant to join a growing business in Greater Manchester. This is an exceptional opportunity responsible for all aspects of accounting working alongside various key stakeholders across multiple functions.

What will you be doing?:

  • Oversee Project module setup, ensuring accurate CAPEX allocation.
  • Manage transactional uploads and project allocations.
  • Collaborate with external consultants and internal teams to report monthly actuals against budgets.
  • Conduct variance analysis.
  • Manage and reconcile the retention ledger.
  • Recognise cost accruals for month-end reporting.
  • Prepare CAPEX numbers for monthly drawdowns and provide variance analysis.
  • Support funding and transactions for new acquisitions.
  • Implement and report on portfolio CAPEX monthly.
  • Develop supply-chain due diligence policies.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives towards a Power BI suite.
  • Produce financial reports for land held under options.

What skills are we looking for?:

  • Qualified Accountant or latter stages PQ.
  • Experience with CAPEX management and project accounting.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Construction experience.
