A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to join our client’s team, based in Hatfield. They’re on the search for a Corporate Sales Development Manager. You role will be to lead the Local Business Development Management Team, increasing B2B sales and ensuring relevant sales team KPIs are achieved.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting, developing and coaching a team of 8 LBDMs where necessary.
  • Managing a team of 8 LBDMs and 12 Fleet Hub Team employees.
  • Driving pro-active prospecting to identify all potential customers and maintain effective control of the DMS to maintain regular and professional contact.
  • Building and maintaining your own portfolio of accounts.
  • Supporting the LBDMs in working with the marketing teams, ensuring the customer facing offering is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Ensuring sales funnels are sufficient to meet targets.
  • Supporting the Group Fleet Manager and relevant Heads of Business with both financial and registration forecasting.

Your Background & Skill:

  • Proven track record of acquiring and developing new and existing business.
  • Experience in managing a team and have the ability to motivate and support one.
  • Experience within the automotive sector, with a strong understanding of the fleet industry.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at a high level.
  • A good problem solver and analyst.
