Job Type: Part time and full time roles available (minimum 24 hours per week worked over 4 shifts) / Fixed Term Contract Starting 30 July 2024 - ending 1 September 2024

The Lowry's ticket agency, QuayTickets will be operating the event and are an award-winning ticket agency operating events and selling tickets for over 50 clients throughout the UK.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Front of House team, welcoming visitors to Beyond Van Gogh - an immersive, multi-sensory experience at the NEC, Birmingham.

As a member of the Front of House team you will be responsible for creating a warm and exciting environment by welcoming visitors to Beyond Van Gogh and ensuring the best possible experience for our audiences. A key part of the role will include providing visitors with information about the exhibition and assisting with ticket scanning to help foster a dynamic experience for attendees of the exhibition.

You should have a friendly and outgoing approach with previous experience in customer services. The exhibition is open 6 days a week (Wednesday to Monday inclusive) and all roles will require some work at weekends and evenings.

  • Ability to work within a team as well as on own initiative

  • An active, open minded, friendly approach to dealing with customers
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to fulfilling the duties of the post

Qualifications:

  • High level of numeracy & literacy

Experience:

  • Experience of working in other customer facing roles

Other Requirements:

  • Enjoy meeting and interacting with people
  • A genuine commitment to the best standards of customer care and guest experience

Shift times are:

  • Weekdays 9:30 - 15:30 or 15:30 - 21:30
  • Weekends 8:00 - 15:30 or 15:30 - 21:30

Full and part time hours are available and applicants must be available to work a minimum of 4 shifts (24 hours) per week and weekends.

Applicants must be available to start in the role on Tuesday 30 July 2024.

Please note interviews will take place via Microsoft Teams.

The exhibition runs from 30 July - 1 September 2024, therefore applicants will be expected to be available throughout this period.

Complementary parking is available onsite for staff members.
