Lead Application Developer | Work from home with occasional travel to the Basingstoke office | Full Time | £75,000 to £90,000 per annum dependent on experience

We are a Microsoft Solutions Partner who provides transformative services for our customers focused on Microsoft Cloud for Office 365, Business Apps, Mobile Device Management, Operations Management and Azure. We are recruiting for a Lead Application Developer, with suitable Microsoft Technology experience of at least 10 years, with Microsoft partner experience desirable.

You will work within the Professional Services team to achieve effective delivery of customer projects and engagements. The role will work closely with a diverse range of IT, Innovation and Project Management colleagues, in this role, you will play a vital part in architecting, designing, developing, testing and deploying custom applications and workflows to meet business needs and drive profitability. This is key to achieving our client service delivery ambitions, ensuring wedeliver bespoke, efficient and valuable cutting-edge technology solutions for our clients' needs.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10 years of development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, Python, Power Platform and SQL Server
• Experience with RESTful APIs, databases, cloud services, and security
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, Git, etc
• Experience with Azure Platform Services, such as App Service, Logic Apps, Functions, Storage, etc
• Experience with database administration, such as backup, restore, security, performance tuning, etc
• Experience with architecture skills, such as design patterns, microservices, API management, etc
• Microsoft certification in Power Platform, Azure, or related technologies is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Valid driving licence

What will your role look like?

• Architect, Design, develop, test and deploy custom applications and workflows using ReactJS, Power Platform and Database platforms such as Azure SQL and Cosmos DB
• Work within the Professional Services team to define and deliver customer projects and engagements
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and ensure compliance with data governance policies and practices
• Build web-based portals, workflow and business logic, data manipulation and reporting, and automation using Power Platform
• Collaborate with Application Developers, Technical Consultants and Project Management colleagues to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions
• Keep up to date with the latest Microsoft technologies and best practices
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the web and Microsoft development field
