A leading main contractor with a reputation for excellence in construction is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a major student accommodation scheme in North West London. This is a new build project of 1000 units over two blocks, with a project value of £130m, set to run until summer 2027.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a critical role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of this significant project. You will be responsible for analysing risks, handling procurement, conducting enquiries, and participating in bid interviews. Additionally, you will manage subcontractor packages, ensuring all financial and contractual obligations are met.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Lead, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will work alongside another Senior Quantity Surveyor and two Assistant Quantity Surveyors, contributing to the successful delivery of this high-profile project.

To be considered for this role, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will need:

• Proven experience working on similar large-scale projects, particularly in student accommodation or residential developments.
• Strong skills in risk analysis, procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Experience in managing enquiries and conducting bid interviews.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Relevant industry qualifications, such as RICS or equivalent.
