Apricus Resourcing are working with a leading charity based in London who are looking for a Mental Health Team Leader to join one of their services in Hackney and work on an ongoing locum basis.

You will provide support to the Service Manager in the day to day running of our Mental Health Service, encouraging a values-based culture and ensuring we provide the highest quality care. Within your role you will be leading with empathy, driving quality care, guiding your team in delivering exceptional support to those navigating mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and supervise Support Workers to deliver best practice and meet expected quality standards of care and support.
• Support and supervise the delivery of person centred service care and support
• Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met through supporting the Service Manager maintain effective records and support plan documentation
• Support the Service Manager ensure operational support colleagues are compliant with all training requirements to undertake their role
• Promote and support the health and safety of the residents
• Ensure that the actions of the operational team deliver effective care and promote safety and wellbeing of the residents

In order to be considered for the role you will need to have a proven track record within the mental health sector and experience of leading teams. In return the service can offer an ongoing contract role paying £17.28 per hour working Mon – Fri 9-5. There is also a big chance the role will be turned permanent in the future.
