A superb opportunity has arisen for a talented commercial vehicle aftersales leader to make a significant contribution to the growth of this well known, long established and highly successful business. Our client is one of the UK’s foremost premium brand commercial vehicle distributors, an ambitious and expanding £100m subsidiary of a major Group, supplying new and used commercial vehicles and aftersales services through a multi-site network around the North West. Their business proposition is most compelling - a long standing and enviable reputation for the supply of high quality products, great people, excellent customer service and a strong portfolio of household name customers. With future expansion on the agenda and a focus on driving excellence through aftersales, an experienced and driven Aftersales Director is required to take this division to the next level.

Reporting to the Managing Director and as a key member of the Senior Leadership team, your remit will be to maximise performance and profitability in aftersales, service, maintenance and parts, ensuring the achievement of profit margins in line with the Group’s business strategy. You will lead and inspire a talented team of aftersales, service and parts professionals (around 150 staff), producing the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. Strategically you will work with the MD and the manufacturer to deliver world class service performance. In addition to a focus on profitability and customer service…top of your agenda will be leadership, developing a culture of excellence within the team, building strong relationships with the manufacturer, customer management, business development and cost control.

The ideal candidate will have a first-class track record of leadership and results achievement in an aftersales or service related role within the commercial vehicle sector. You may be an experienced Aftersales Director, or perhaps an ambitious, senior level Depot, Service or Aftersales Manager looking for your next exciting career step. Either way, your knowledge, experience and expertise in delivering positive results in this type of environment will be second to none. In addition, you will be a high integrity character with excellent leadership, communication and relationship building skills, able to win credibility with colleagues and customers alike. Commercially and financially aware, you will lead from the front and possess a real zest and enthusiasm to achieve great things for you and your team.
