Senior Electrical Design Engineer
£40 - £50 per hour
Manchester + Hybrid / Flexible working
12+ month contract
When you take on a contract with this client you are joining a business and a team that are known for making the complex simple.
This role is working for a multi-disciplinary Building Services Consultancy, that provides solutions across various niche sectors. It's a role where the team work collaboratively with their other offices across the UK, to deliver inventive solutions to complex technical design challenges.
They are able to offer you the opportunity to work in multiple sectors, these could include Pharma, Life Sciences, Defence, MOJ or Aviation amongst many, and you are often working on impressive and innovative buildings with some top-tier architects and clients.
It will give you the chance to work within a supportive team, where you can plug into and access a wider network of professionals. As well as internal engagement it will offer you the chance to see your designs come to fruition through site visits and client engagement
Their network of offices are modern, open and they actively embrace flexible and hybrid working with most of the team working 1 day in the office and the rest remotely.
The leadership team is headed up by an experienced and hands on Director, someone who is always on hand to offer guidance and support. You are not expected to know everything about every sector, where there are skill gaps, time and support will be offered to assist you whether you are a contractor or staff member, of which the team has a nice mix of both.
They are looking for you to have the following traits:
- Value quality and enjoy delivering technically excellent Electrical designs in the built environment
- Want to take ownership, be innovative, use initiative and are driven by client satisfaction
- Have experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams
- Have experience in working with and mentoring junior engineers
