An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.

Vacancy Brief:

  • The role is that of a Recruitment Administrator.
  • This is vacancy is a three-month fixed term contract; full-time role, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Salary for this vacancy is £23,840 per annum.
  • Job Role is based in Birmingham Central.
  • The working hours will be Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week.

The Responsibilities:

  • As a Recruitment Administrator, you will partner the business though all recruitment and selection processes.
  • You will be tasked with the Management of the organisations Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to provide an up-to-date database of all recruitment activity and communication to all applicants.
  • Part of your job role will require you to provide solutions in regard to role advertisement.
  • You will need to be confident to liaise with colleges and universities arranging student placements, volunteers and apprenticeships.
  • You will be required to provide ideas and options in terms of candidate’s selection.
  • An important aspect of your role will be to liaise with candidates and hiring managers to arrange interviews and make offers to candidates.
  • In this vacancy, you will ensure a fair and consistent process is adhered to in all recruitment practices.
  • Furthermore, as a Recruitment Administrator you will contract management of the recruitment partners which assist the organisation in their agency staffing needs.

Skill Required for this role:

  • Experience of supporting on recruitment related activities
  • Experience of creating engaging job adverts
  • Experience of administering recruitment software (ATS, Candidate Portals etc)
  • Experience of advising managers and staff on Recruitment issues
  • Experience of the implementation of policies and procedures, and underpinning HR processes to suit operational needs
  • Experience of using key Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
