About the Role

As a PE Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students in PE lessons, helping them to engage and succeed in physical activities
• Work closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assist in planning and delivering tailored PE sessions that cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH
• Encourage students to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and confidence
• Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning

Requirements

• A passion for Physical Education and a genuine interest in helping young people
• Experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting student learning
