Project Engineer

Bradford, £35-45k, interesting projects, progression available, pension.

Excellent opportunity to join a well-established business in Bradford managing engineering projects from order, through manufacturing, delivery and installation. Excellent organisational and customer service skills are essential as is a confident understanding of engineering drawings and processes.

The role of Project Engineer will include:

• Lead the planning and execution of development projects from start to finish
• Manage project scope and time-lines
• Working with sales to fully understand and communicate project scope discussing any changes and adding cost where necessary
• Being the main point of contact for customers and internal contact from initial order to installation
• Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations
• Identify and manage project risks and issues
• Work with production quality and installation teams
• Provide regular updates and status reports to clients and management
• Collating project information spreadsheets, drawings, and job packs for production
• Ensuring customer drawing approval prior to manufacturing
• Checking orders against the quotation and agreeing on delivery date with customers to ensure they are ready for installation
• with Production to ensure on-time delivery
• Writing RAMs for client submission and approval
• Arranging collection, transport, and delivery on the required date.
• Organising site fitting teams to go to the site

You will have:

• A previous background in managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Highly organized and people-oriented.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
