Multi Trader | Berkshire Region | Commercial Environments | £40,000 + Weekly pay, company van & attractive package | OTE: £45-55K per annum with OT + CA.

Are you an experienced Multi Trader? Would you be happy to work on a reactive basis, attending a wide variety of emergency call out works, alongside small works / project works? Would you like to security of a permanent role with still getting paid on a weekly basis?

Due to the award of a new contract, we are currently recruiting for Multi Traders to cover Berkshire, West London and surrounding areas. You will be part of a 45 person team, attending a wide variety of reactive maintenance / emergency call outs / small works / project works across various building trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating, tiling, roofing, brick works etc.

Training and development is on offer, however works you can expect are as follows:

• Plumbing – taps, washers, flushers, internal blockages, repairing / replacing pipework, installing toilets, pump repairs / replacements.
• Carpentry – Boxing in, making good of areas, basic woodwork, erecting wooden frames/structures, stud walls / partitions, ceiling tiles, fixtures and fittings, lock replacements, hanging doors, laying/replacing wooden flooring, 
• Bathroom and Kitchen fitting.
• Tiling / Patch Tiling
• Patch brickwork
• Glass / window fitting
• Patch plastering

Package: What is in it for you?

• Attractive Basic Salary: up to £40,000
• Weekly Pay Schedule
• Plenty of paid overtime available between x1.5 - x2 rates.

• Call out rota 1 in 4 weeks: £80 per call out + overtime rates after 1st hour on-site.
• Estimated earnings with salary, overtime and call out: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependant on how much overtime you choose to do).
• Weekly float for any parts / materials that the business do not have an account with.
• Expenses and salary paid weekly.
• Hours: 08:30am - 5:30pm / flexible on a 9 hour working day, ie: 6am-3pm / 7am - 4pm etc.
• Standard working day: Leaving home between 07:30-8am, arriving home circa 5-5:30pm.
• Training courses provided by the business.

Requirements:

• Ideally hold a trade certificate (city and guilds or equivalent), however we are also happy to consider "time served" candidates.
• Must be comfortable carrying out a variety of building trade works (as listed above, at least 60-70% of the list).
• Happy to work on a reactive basis, meaning majority of works will be initial inspection / fault find / detection followed by repair.
• Happy to work on a fast paced basis.
• Experience working in commercial environments would be advantageous but not essential.
• Able to legally work and drive in the UK.
