Job title: Accounts Assistant/Administrator.
Location: Edmonton – In Person.
Salary: Up to £35K.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join our growing business. We are a friendly, dynamic team and we are looking for a reliable individual to provide comprehensive support to the Finance team. Experience working in the construction sector would be beneficial to this role, which is office based Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
· Preparing, managing and agreeing client payment valuations to pre-agreed timetable ensuring deadlines are met
Updating and reviewing Sage accounting system to include:
· Sales ledger ‐ ensure invoices are raised/posted accurately and in a timely manner
· Purchase ledger ‐ obtain authorisation from the appropriate person for all purchase invoices
· Nominal ledger ‐ process payment runs to suppliers based on invoices approved for payment
· CIS Returns
· Reconciliation of the credit card account
Requirements
· Sage 50 experience
· Strong IT skills – MS Excel essential
· High attention to detail
· Strong communicator both written and verbal
