Role Overview: The position of Pre-Construction Manager is open within an expanding regional office. This role offers a competitive salary, a robust commission structure, and clear avenues for career progression. The company, a reputable office fit-out D&B specialist, has been thriving for over 20 years with a turnover of £30m-£40m.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare subcontractor tender packages and manage tender returns.
• Analyse subcontractor tenders and provide recommendations.
• Support pre-contract bids and contract documentation.
• Participate in client pitch presentations and construction documentation handovers.
• Assess client briefs for cost planning and coordinate site surveys with subcontractors.
• Negotiate subcontractor tenders and prepare project specifications and estimates.
• Manage pre-contract programmes and ensure compliance with planning, health, and safety regulations.
• Oversee several projects simultaneously, ensuring accurate and timely completion.

Requirements:

• Experience in cost planning and value engineering.
• Strong commercial pre-contract background with office design and build experience.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and ambitious with a positive attitude.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.

Additional Information:

• The role includes a mix of traditional pre-construction pricing/estimating and commercial management during live projects.
• Office-based at least three days a week, with the option to work from home for the remainder.
• Initial six-month training/probation period provided.
