Individual Placement & Support – IPS – Employment services support people to find paid employment as part of their recovery. Day to day you will be supporting clients with mental health support needs to find and sustain paid employment as a key element of their recovery - engaging with employers and building good working relationships with Mental Health teams along the way.
You, as Employment Advisor, will offer support, careers advice and guidance, helping people to set their own recovery and employment focused goals and provide training in personal and skills development such as CV preparation, interview techniques etc.
Additionally, you, as Employment Adviser, will have responsibility for maintaining efficient admin systems to ensure referrals, assessments, progress and reviews are completed in a timely manner.
We are looking for:

Experience of working in a customer facing environment e.g. Customer Services, Social Care, Hospitality, Sales etc

Experience of working in a performance target driven environment

Willingness to travel locally and dedicated to working in the community.
Due to the nature of the role a driving licence and access to a car is essential.
We have 3 full-time Career Specialist positions at 37.5 a week: one permanent post and one fixed term post for 15 months based at Portsmouth, and one permanent post based at Basingstoke. Please indicate on your application for which role you would like to be considered.
