Job Title: Python Developer (12-Month Contract)

Job Description:

My client are looking for a highly skilled Python Developer to join their Portfolio Analytics team on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global insurance leader based in London, offering a competitive daily rate of up to £850.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with actuaries to re-write specialty pricing models.
• Further develop and enhance existing pricing models.
• Provide code reviews and hands-on advice for training and coding best practices.
• Contribute to UI development; my client uses React but is open to other front-end frameworks.
• Potentially work with the Hyperexponential (HX) platform, if you have prior experience.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Excellent Python experience: Demonstrable expertise in Python development, ideally within the insurance sector.
• UI Development: Strong understanding of front-end development. Experience with React is preferred, but knowledge of other frameworks is also valuable.
• Hyperexponential (HX) Platform: Experience with HX is highly advantageous but not essential.
• Best Practices: Ability to provide code reviews and share best practices for training and development.
